I attended an early screening for the film "Fort Bliss" last night at the Directors Guild of America - which was a great way to recognize military service on the 13th anniversary of 9/11.

"Fort Bliss" depicts the life of Army Medic Staff Sergeant Maggie Swann (Monaghan) who comes home and tries to piece her life together after experiencing a vigorous deployment in Afghanistan. Dealing with custody battles with her ex-husband Richard (Livingston) and suppressed issues from some raw experiences in Afghanistan, Swann focuses on reconnecting with her son Paul in hopes of having a piece of that once normal life.

It was a pleasant turnout and pleasant viewing experience. I highly recommend this film to anyone.

I also have a pretty nice guest appearance in the film.
